Madison Hospital
Madison, Alabama
Madison Hospital is Alabama's newest hospital which will be built and operated by Huntsville Hospital to serve the residents of the City of Madison and communities in western Madison County. Groundbreaking for the new 60-bed hospital was held late 2009 with completion by February 2012.
The full-service hospital, which will include a five-story patient tower on the east and the emergency/urgent care section on the west side will be located in Huntsville Hospital's Madison Medical Park on U.S. 72 near Balch Road in the City of Madison. Services will include emergency, urgent care, medical, surgical, obstetrics, noninvasive cardiology, diagnostic, and therapy and wellness services. The hospital can easily be expanded to 200 beds.
The hospital was designed to not feel like a traditional hospital. The character was developed with input from local officials so that leading edge technology could be combined with the traditional Southern elements in such a way that would feel comfortable to the patients and community.
