First Baptist Church

In keeping with their long term master plan and realizing the growing needs for their comtemporary service, First Baptist Church studied the feasibility of renovating some or all of their existing Christian Life Center. Chapman Sisson was hired to evaluate the possibility of utilizing the existing building to meet the growing needs of the congregation.

After much study, a proposal has been made to reuse the existing gymnasium for the new comtemporary worship space. After some renovation to the existing space, a comtemporary worship space with a capacity of 800 will be developed on the ground floor with the existing track maintained on the upper floor.

A new Youth Gathering area with a capacity of 250 will be developed as well as several break out classrooms. The new development will be connected to the existing campus on both levels providing an intimate outdoor courtyard and prayer garden.

An alternate for new administration offices facing the front of the campus with easy access will be provided as well as additional parking and covered arrival space.
