Our Philosophy

In December of 1997, Chapman Sisson Architects was founded on the following fundamental values and principles. These ideals are still fresh for our practice today and guide the direction of the firm.

  • We seek to display integrity and be honorable in all that we undertake.

  • We will maintain our Christian and family values in the operation of our practice.

  • We will strive to provide award-winning design for all types of projects.

  • We will provide outstanding customer service, remaining focused on the client in all that we do.

  • We are committed to maintain a high level of quality in all aspects of our practice.

  • We will take full advantage of the latest technology in our business.

  • We will surround ourselves with quality people.

  • We will maintain personal and corporate accountability.

What Is Important

One of our founding values is to surround ourselves with quality people. Our team members are not only talented design professionals but also wonderful people. We have developed a friendly, supportive office culture that promotes professional development and builds strong citizens. Our staff is encouraged to grow in their professional careers. Each team member is given opportunities to take on increasing project responsibilities and mature as a design professional. We take an active role in developing our community to enhance the quality of life of our city.

It is also important to build strong families and to have fun in what we do. The firm is structured to allow our staff to be involved in important family events during work hours. We will not design good buildings at the expense of our families and loved ones. We also have a lot of fun in what we do. Periodically, we will have an office retreat to spend time together outside of a work environment and to "vision" the firm. The accomplishment of producing good architecture is much more enjoyable when created in a family-friendly culture of professional development, citizenship, and having fun.
