Beginning in 2017, First Baptist Church in Huntsville began working with Chapman Sisson Architects to study renovating and adding to their existing Children’s Ministry space. CSA studied many options that would allow for continued use of portions of the building during construction and would give the Church room for future growth. The project program grew to include an addition for indoor play space, renovations to existing daycare, Children’s Ministry, and Adult Ministry classrooms, a renovation of administration space, and the addition of a new elevator in the center of the existing building.

The project began construction in Fall 2020 and completed in Fall 2021. Construction was broken into three (3) phases to allow the Church to continue to operate their daycare and other church functions simultaneously with construction.
