First Baptist Church of Huntsville desired
to provide a larger venue for a fast growing
contemporary worship ministry. After developing
several master plan scenarios, it was decided
to pursue using the existing 25 year old gym
structure and transform this space into an 800
seat worship center. It was determined that the
church would save nearly $1M in construction
dollars by reusing and renovating the existing
building.

As part of the new construction, a two story
state of the art Youth Gathering and Worship
area with a capacity of 200 was developed with
nine large break out classrooms.

New administration offices facing the front of the
campus with easy access was provided as well
as additional parking and covered arrival space.
This project also connects the exiting buildings
on campus, which allows circulation flow under
one roof.
