Located near Redstone Arsenal just outside of Gate 9, Huntsville Hospital’s Gateway Medical Clinic is a 9,000 square foot primary and urgent care facility strategically located to serve the community in and around the Arsenal. The design teams’ goal was to create a clinic that conveys professionalism and be a representation of the high quality care that Huntsville Hospital is known for.

The floor plan is designed around a centralized care zone, allowing for the existing full height glass storefront to be visible in patient corridors. The centralized care team area also significantly improves clinical efficiency and facilitates better collaboration among providers. With the abundance of natural
light, modern amenities, and ease of access to outdoor spaces, the Gateway Medical Clinic significantly improves the patient and staff experience.
