Joe Davis Stadium Renovation
Year Completed: 2023
Originally built in 1985, Joe Davis Stadium was home to the Huntsville Stars until 2014. When the Minor League Baseball team relocated to another city, Huntsville needed to address the future of the facility. City officials hired Chapman Sisson Architects to assess the condition of the property and provide conceptual designs for a potential renovation.
Now, completely renovated, this once outdated baseball venue is home to Huntsville's first MLS Next Pro team and will host multiple other sports, including football and lacrosse. The stadium seats about 6,000 with several new amenities - including the press box, concessions, restrooms, offices, and locker rooms.
