The new Madison County Service Center is designed to reduce operational costs and streamline multiple governmental departments strewn around the city. It does this by consolidating the License, Probate, Tax Assessor, Tax Collector, Registrars, and Sales Tax departments into a one-stop shop for almost all government needs, located centrally off the parkway with convenient parking. Warm wood accents the department entries and flow from floor to ceiling, creating a welcoming double-height waiting hall with excellent wayfinding. Tall windows line the main entry, allowing in natural light.
