Providence Building II
Year Completed: 2005
Project Size: 25,000 Sqft
Building Two was actually the first building to form the basis of the master plan for the Providence town center. The building serves two important purposes. First, it houses two restaurants which serve the community, and bring life to the area after business hours. Second, it provides office space for both the developer of the project, and other local businesses.
The building placement forms one wall of an outdoor “room”, which features a large fountain, trees, and seating for the adjacent restaurant spaces. The architecture is strictly traditional, and matches the turn of the century character that is the hallmark of the Providence development. It serves as a benchmark for how future buildings that make up the commercial component of the town center are styled. Since the Village of Providence is a walking community, parking is kept out of view behind the building.
