The Charger Park Master Plan takes a comprehensive look at all existing sports fields and facilities that make up the Charger Park. It also makes plans for the addition of sports fields not currently part of the park, including Lacrosse and Track & Field. The goal of the project is to look forward to the future and determine how to make the facility more responsive to the needs of the athletes, coaches, and fans, while at the same time exceeding the standards set forth by other NCAA Division II schools in the Gulf South Conference. A common greenspace links the ballfields and future track and field complex, enhancing the fan experience. Major improvements include expanded concessions, added field houses, and additional seating at all existing fields.
