Westminster Christian Academy

Year Completed: 2009
Project Size: 42,000 Sqft

Chapman Sisson Architects developed the master plan for Westminster Christian Academy’s new Brockway Campus, and most recently was chosen to design the “Upper School”, which houses the 6th through 12th grades. This building successfully became the cornerstone for site, which also includes the football field, concession building and field house.

The building consists of 42,000 square feet, which contains 24 classrooms, administrative suite and competition gymnasium. In addition, attention was given to the provision for science labs, a computer lab, and flexible classroom sizes to enhance the educational experience.

The character of the building reflects the traditional roots of the School and its partner, Westminster Presbyterian Church. The building forms a key element of the formal layout of the campus, which when complete, will form one side of an outdoor quad between all buildings.
